Kelsey was born and raised in San Diego, and she feels very lucky to call it home. When Kelsey is not working, she enjoys playing with her 3 dogs, exploring San Diego, and traveling. With over a decade of experience, she specializes in trauma, addiction, mental health, oncology psychotherapy, and family systems, serving children, adolescents, adults, veterans, and diverse populations with compassion and expertise. Marlene earned both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work by the age of 22, advancing quickly into clinical practice and later into leadership as a Clinical Director, where she guided teams, developed programs, and elevated standards of care. Her career reflects a balance of direct client work, clinical supervision, and program leadership, all grounded in evidence-based practices and a deeply client-centered philosophy. Shiniqua Lee is the Clinic Director of Thousand Branches Wellness – Charlotte. She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Virginia Union University and her master’s degree in social work from Norfolk State University. With over 14 years of experience, Shiniqua has developed expertise across diverse settings, including child welfare, inpatient psychiatric care, children’s advocacy, integrated behavioral health, private psychotherapy, and geriatric mental health. A member of Star Behavioral Health Providers, Shiniqua is trained in military culture and best practices for serving service members, veterans, and their families. She provides therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing a compassionate and person-centered approach. Shiniqua is passionate about helping others navigate stress, trauma, and emotional challenges with authenticity and self-compassion. She also offers clinical supervision and professional development for other mental health professionals.

With specialized training focused on neurodevelopmental disorders and anxiety, Vivian has also worked in a variety of settings. Vivian takes an easygoing and straightforward approach to therapy, combining compassion with practical skills to help clients set and reach meaningful goals and change in their lives. She wants her clients to feel comfortable but also be willing to do the work of therapy. She believes that everyone has the capacity for growth and joy, and she’s passionate about supporting people as they discover their own path to a happier life. His grounded and approachable nature helps him connect with patients, to meet them where they are and support their path toward improved well-being. Through this work, she has developed deep clinical expertise in attachment theory, family systems, and trauma-informed practice. She is certified in Solution-Focused Brief Treatment and integrates a wide range of evidence-based modalities into her work, including CBT, DBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Therapy, and humanistic, client-centered approaches.
Ashley’s leadership experience includes directing school-based mental health programs, supervising clinicians toward licensure, managing program budgets, and developing trauma-responsive group curriculum. She has led teams with clarity and compassion, helping clinicians grow their clinical voice while maintaining high standards of care.
Her leadership philosophy centers on reflective leadership, accountability with empathy, empowerment, and building sustainable systems that prioritize both clinician well-being and client impact. Ashley believes strong leadership is rooted in integrity, self-awareness, and a deep commitment to the mission.

In her role, she focuses on strengthening and expanding services across levels of care, including the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), with an emphasis on access, continuity, and thoughtful clinical coordination. She works closely with clinicians and staff to help ensure clients are matched with the care that best supports their needs and feel supported throughout their treatment journey. Vivienne brings a relational, trauma-informed approach to leadership and is passionate about creating systems where both clients and clinicians can do meaningful, sustainable work. Originally from the Netherlands and shaped by a multicultural upbringing, she values curiosity, connection, and perspective in both life and leadership. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active outdoors, and music. Vivienne holds a Master’s degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh and a Master of Social Work from Columbia University. She is an EMDR Certified Therapist (EMDRIA) and a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor.

Lyndsey began her collegiate career at Bowling Green State University where she received her Bachelor of Art Degree in Interpersonal Communications minoring in Psychology and Marketing. While working in the corporate industry, Lyndsey learned that her true passion was in the Mental Health and Substance Use field and went back for her dual Master of Science in Clinical and Counseling Psychology with Capella University in 2013. While working as a full-time Community Psychiatric Support Treatment Specialist at Beacon Health in Mentor, OH, Lyndsey also completed her Internship with Beacon Health in the General Counseling Department where she participated in providing individual counseling and structured group sessions while creating her own clinical support group for Autism Spectrum Adults. Upon completion of master’s degree and obtaining her LPC license and Health and Safety Officer Certification, Lyndsey joined Beacon Health’s Lake County Crisis Team as a full-time Crisis Clinician and was promoted to the Intensive Services Program Supervisor in March of 2019. Beacon Health merged with Crossroads to provide services for youth and adults. Lyndsey received her LPCC in 2021 and her LPCC-S in 2022. Lyndsey was promoted in 2022 as the Director of Lake County Crisis Services including the mobile crisis team, 24/7 crisis hotline and ACT team. After relocating Lyndsey became a Clinical Director in a Substance Use and Dual treatment clinic. Lyndsey enjoys working both on the administration and training side as well as with clients using the skills she has gathered over the many years of service to provide support to those surviving mental illness and substance use disorders. Lyndsey has specialty in working with first responder’s and in intensive Trauma. Lyndsey was previously a Team Lead with the Lake County Trauma Response Team as well as a member of the Domestic Violence Task Force. Currently she has transitioned to Thousand Branches Wellness to open a new clinic in Cleveland Ohio!

Alfonso has more than 10 years of post-retirement, hands-on experience, supporting our service members and their families within the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Army as well as directly serving our Veteran population.
